 ❀ First Impressions ✾ VISUAL: Nott is a green-skinned goblin. Her eyes are large, yellow, and catlike, her mouth is full of razor-sharp teeth, her ears are huge and pointed, and her hair is stringy, messy, and a dark green that could be mistaken for black in some lighting. She's three feet tall, which is noticeable immediately, and she only has four fingers on each hand, each with long clawlike black fingernails (which match those on her toes, which make shoes pretty difficult). She has a few piercings: a gold septum ring, and a few golden rings and studs on her ears. ✾ FASHION: Most of the time, she wears bandages wrapped all over the parts of herself that are exposed to try to limit recognition of herself as a goblin, along with a mask fashioned from a broken porcelain doll that covers the lower half of her face. Aside from that, she is always wearing a hooded cloak to help disguise herself further. She prefers clothing that makes it easy to get around quickly and silently, although she can't resist wearing jewelry should she get ahold of it. She favors dark colors. ✾ DEMEANOUR: Nott is a very nervous sort of person, and keeps her distance from new people as much as possible. She is paranoid and fearful of strangers and acquaintances alike and tries to keep herself out of full view if she can. She prefers others to take the lead. ✾ SOUND: Her voice is.......... beautiful. Nott has a high, thin voice that can often be shrieky. She's got an accent reminiscent of her world's equivalent of cockney, but it's very light. Here is a clip of her talking. ✾ SCENT: Liable to smell strongly of alcohol at all times. She also doesn't... bathe..... so....... You try bathing if you're afraid of water, okay. (If Caleb is near, his smell will distract anyone from hers, though. Her smelly wingman.) ✾ MENTAL INFORMATION: Nott doesn't have any natural resistance to psychic attack or invasion. She's been successfully Charm Person'd by her own party in the past. ✾ MAGICAL INFORMATION: People who can sense magic may note that she has magical prowess. She keeps a few spell components on her at all times, which includes feathers, old stale pastries, and, her favorite, a small copper wire. ❀ OOC ✾ PLAYER: Javid ✾ CONTACT: ✾ TIMEZONE: PST ✾ BACKTAGGING: I live off of backtags, I'll backtag into the sun. ✾ FOURTHWALLING: Fourthwalling DnD mechanics is okay, but I'd prefer not to go too heavy on "you're a DnD character" or mentioning Critical Role. ✾ ACTION OR PROSE: No preference! I'll match styles. ✾ SENSITIVE SUBJECTS: I know I'm playing the exact character that generates this, but I'd prefer to avoid heavy description of animal harm! Small jokes about Nott eating cats, etc are okay. ❀ IC ✾ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Nott avoids touching people as much as possible, but you're free to manhandle her all you want. The only person she's always 100% okay with being physically affectionate with is Caleb, and now by extension the rest of the Mighty Nein, but she's not the worst at hugs and such. If you surprise her with it, she might react by drawing a weapon or something in fear, but she won't attack outright. ✾ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Nott is capable in a fight, but she vastly prefers fighting in a group so she can sneak around and fire off from a distance and in the shadows. She does not do up close and personal, thanks. However, I'm open to any kind of fighting, just know that she's more likely to just run away. ✾ RELATIONSHIPS: I'm down for shipping, with the caveat that 9/10 I'll need to rely on FTB rather than written smut. She is (technically) happily married in canon, however, so be aware of that immediate hurdle. Of ships within the Mighty Nein, I'm not comfortable with Caleb/Nott due to the familial tone of their relationship, but everyone else is fair game tbh. I'm a huge slut for Jester/Nott. ✾ SENSITIVE SUBJECTS: Nott will flip out if harm comes to Caleb. She also has severe trauma associated with water and drowning. She's also afraid of... everything. Don't worry about avoiding stuff, I love exploring everything! ❀ OPT OUT Campaign 2 of Critical Role is still ongoing.
